Tucked between a 7 Eleven and Family Mart, the Phantip night market is a must if you’re visiting the island of Koh Phangan. The market is located in Thong Sala area and is open from 1pm until 1am.
I love Pantip Market because you can get authentic, delicious, and fresh food at affordable prices and a friendly atmosphere to along with it.
You will find everything that you could want at this market, especially healthy fruit shakes for just 30 THB. I usually get them daily from here. My favorite combination is mango, passion fruit, banana, and beetroot.
10 THB for Sushi
Chocolate Donut for 20 THB
Many Thai people enjoy eating fried insects as a snack food, often enjoyed with beer. Grilled Fish for 60-80 THB with Seafood sauce (This my favorite one)
Thai grilled pork in Skewers or Moo Ping, brush the coconut milk on the pork while it’s on the grill.
This market is open every day of the week. Here you can find all sorts of dishes including curries, noodle soups, fried chicken, sticky rice, barbecued pork, grilled fish, sushi, kebabs, spaghetti, sandwiches, burgers, and more.
This market is particularly popular with backpacker as the meals usually range from 50-80thb. There are tables set up all around the market, so you can sit and enjoy your food there. Take away is possible too.
Not only will you find Thai food at this market, but also slices of Italy, Israeli, India, and Japan.
